I am a native Ohioan and split my childhood between there and Tennessee. I moved to Texas in 2010 after a four-year stint in Northern California. I’ve come to love many things about my home of Bandera (especially the people), but I do miss seeing the ocean from my living room!
I earned a Bachelor of Science, with Honors, in Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2001, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015, and a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2017. I then received my Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Miami in 2019.
I understand the devastation that personal and mental health problems can have on a person’s entire life but I also believe there is a solution. I am honored to help individuals and families discover freedom from suffering. I currently work in private practice and enjoy helping clients with a wide range of challenges to live the life that they desire and deserve.

Learn how to accept those things that are out of your control, and commit to changing those things that can be changed to make your life better. I specialize in very active life coaching so your session will not be one in which we just sit and "talk" about your troubles. It's a session in which you actively learn new skills to improve your quality of life.
I look forward to helping you rediscover the joys that life can bring!
